Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Volumi (“Volumi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using Volumi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

Volumi is a record-keeping tool: a shared ledger that records what each person paid and calculates who owes whom. Volumi is not a bank, a payment processor, or a money transmitter, and it does not hold, move, or guarantee any funds. Settlement of amounts occurs directly between you and the other parties, using whatever payment method you choose.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use Volumi. You agree to provide accurate account information, to keep your credentials secure, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Volumi only for lawful purposes. You may not use the service to violate any law, to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service, or to harass others or misuse another person’s information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

User Content and Accuracy

The amounts, balances, and other information in Volumi are those entered by you and your group. Volumi performs calculations on the information provided but cannot verify its accuracy and does not adjudicate disputes. Any disagreement regarding amounts owed is solely between you and the other parties; Volumi is not a party to, and bears no responsibility for, those settlements.

Plans and Billing

The core of Volumi is provided free of charge. Paid plans, including Pro and the Founder rate, are billed through Stripe on the cycle disclosed at checkout. The Founder rate remains at the stated price for as long as your subscription remains continuously active, as described at sign up. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods.

Availability and Changes to the Service

We may add, modify, or discontinue features of Volumi at any time. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Volumi is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any amounts owed between you and other users. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using Volumi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if your use poses a risk to the service or to others.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and the date above will be updated. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes, and your continued use of Volumi after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
